Marion Anderson has been gaming since the late 1970s, and was involved with a number of Arcanacons in the 1980s and 1990s as both a player and as a tournament writer – mainly scenarios for Call of Cthulhu. Since then she has been a freelance game author for Call of Cthulhu and other game systems. She contributed to Chaosium’s “Horror on the Orient Express”, “Beyond the Mountains of Madness”, and the recently published “Terror Australis” – all international award winning books. She is also the author of the “Cairo Guidebook” for Call of Cthulhu. She still plays rpgs most weeks, and occasionally can be found running pop-up scenarios at random game stores when she travels for work. In her real world job, she rewrites the brains of approx 400 students per year in first year EAE at Monash Uni, digs up dinosaurs, and helps select landing sites for NASA’s Mars Rovers.
